I'm a Victim's Crisis Counselor, a Clinical Trauma Professional, and Family Therapy Professional; I also have certifications in Anger Management, Child and Youth Trauma, and specializations in children, adult individuals, seniors, teens, couples, and family therapy. I also maintain a private practice in Irvine, California.
I have over 13 years of experience as a marriage and family therapist and trauma specialist, and I'm also graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a specialization in Psychodynamic therapy. I'm currently serving as a private practitioner and work with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are: trauma, child abuse, adult survivors of childhood abuse, PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder, complex trauma, relationship issues, self harming behavior, mood disorders, addiction, anxiety disorders, domestic violence, obsessive compulsive disorder, accultural issues with various cultures among children, teens, adults, dependent adults, adolescent issues, depression, and suicidal ideations. For nearly 13 years, I have worked with children who have experienced sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Through play and art therapy, I can aid children to express themselves and learn to cope with challenging life issues in a safe and non-threatening environment. Every behavior has meaning.

Education I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills and a Master's in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I also hold a Doctorate degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. License, Certifications & Awards I hold a California state appointed license for a Marriage & Family Therapist, and certificates as a Victim's Crisis Counselor, Clinical Trauma Professional, Family Therapy Professional, Anger Management, and Child and Youth Trauma Professional.

I also have additional training in the field of complex trauma, play therapy, self harming behavior, dissociative identity disorder, and I'm currently receiving training in EMDR.
